It’s nearly time for Independence Day and we have a very special menu on in all diners to celebrate.

 

When the founding fathers issued the Declaration of Independence and wrote:

 

“The history of the present King of Great Britain is a history of repeated injuries and usurpations, all having in direct object the establishment of an absolute Tyranny over these States.”

 

They must have dreamed that their freedom would lead to the creation of dishes of such magnificence that they would one day be found on the menus of restaurants in their oppressor’s kingdom. Well that day is now. They get Trump. We get the food.

 

Here’s what’s up.

 

We will be serving the Independence Day Menu in all diners for the whole day on 4th July. Our diners will be decorated for the occasion and we will be playing a strictly US soundtrack. Expect everything from Hank Williams to Doug E Fresh.

 

On to the food.

Since it’s been hot of late on the Costa Del Hackney we’ve also stuck a watermelon salad on there; she’s a Queso Fresco topped beauty!
